Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology: BSIT

The BSIT degree will enhance your skills in management and prepare graduates to work effectively in the engineer-technologist team. ALL courses are offered after 4:00 p.m. over each two-year cycle. The Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology (BSIT) degree is designed for students who:

Have graduated from an accredited college or university with a two-year associate degree
Have earned a one year certificate from an accredited college
Enter through the core engineering program at Lamar University with a 2.0 GPA, or
Have completed a minimum of 40 semester hours of technical, engineering, science, or mathematics courses.

BSIT graduates have an outstanding record of getting rewarding jobs as: Plant managers, Production managers, Safety directors, Marketing directors and Consultants.
