Neches River Tours
Typical Saturday trips open to the general public take passengers from Riverfront Park up the Neches. Historical and cultural sites along the River are discussed and the wilderness areas just north of Beaumont, Texas, are visited. The Cardinal is a forty-five foot boat that holds 49 passengers, a mate, and captain. Leisurely adventures cruise the river at 6 to 12 miles per hour.

Enjoy a leisurely trip on the ecologically diverse Neches River. The Neches has been called "The Last Wild River" in east Texas. Our comfortable, open boat, the Cardinal, allows us to showcase this beautiful river with its unique ecosystem and dense bottomland forests of hardwoods and pine trees. The Neches is home to more than 200 tree species, 47 mammals, 300 birds and many reptiles and amphibians.
