Our Mission: At the Professional Writers Center we have four goals:
To help each student bring his/her writing goals/dreams into focus. To provide specific, high-quality writing instruction. To educate each student in the realities of writing and publishing. To be a place that one returns to over and over again, offering classes that, no matter how many times taught or taken, will never be the same. |

Our Purpose:
We believe one of the greatest challenges a writer faces is how to bring order to his or her dreams. We believe that writing is a skill that must be developed through practice. The Professional Writers Center will help prepare our student writers for success and will meet their expectations by creating a vision that will motivate and inspire them. We hope to help them make their goals and dreams accessible and attainable. The PWC will help identify their purpose, help set their priorities, be persistent and consistent and help them identify what they need to learn. We can and will achieve this by bringing together the right courses, bust especially the right mix of professors and authors, making that mix a perfect partnership. |
